Real Estate Transactions (Sales and Exchanges):
We assist buyers and sellers in the negotiation and closing of real estate acquisitions, sale, tax-deferred exchanges, and leasing of all types of properties. Our representation includes the preparation of purchase and sale agreements, escrow instructions, deeds and other related documents.
Real Estate Development and Construction:
We assist clients with real estate development, including shopping center, industrial, residential, hotel, and downtown developments. We assist builders with common construction issues and contract preparation.
Commercial and Residential Landlord-Tenant Law:
We assist property owners, landlords, commercial business owners, and the like with all aspects of commercial and residential landlord-tenant law, an increasingly complex, specialized practice area. Mr. Taylor’s extensive background in this area is of particular benefit.
Our firm represents homeowner and condominium associations with all issues including dues collections, contractor and vendor disputes, compliance, bylaw and declaration drafting and revision and general governance issues.
Real Estate Sales and Property Management:
We represent real estate agents who have difficult legal issues or disputes that sometimes arise during their representation of buyers and sellers or landlords and tenants.
We assist professional lenders and everyday note-holders who are no longer receiving their payments. We guide our clients through all of their options and efficiently move through the foreclosure processes so that our clients can put their real estate back to productive use again.
